The Association of Healthcare Providers of India (AHPI) Telangana Chapter and the Telangana Superspeciality Hospitals Association (TSHA) have embarked on a commendable academic drive, thoughtfully curated as a year-long calendar covering diverse and highly relevant healthcare topics. This initiative reflects a strong commitment toward continuous learning, professional excellence, and strengthening the healthcare ecosystem of Telangana.
The inaugural academic session was hosted at KIMS Secunderabad, marking a promising beginning to this visionary journey. It was a privilege to be part of this forum as an executive member and to witness firsthand the depth of planning, collaboration, and passion that went into making this initiative a success.
The first academic theme, Infection Prevention in Healthcare, was conducted in association with Infection Control Foundation of India (IFCAI). The program stood out not only for its academic rigor but also for its seamless organization. Special appreciation is due to the core committee member, Ms. Sushma, whose meticulous coordination and dedication were evident throughout the program.Great appreciation to the Top management of KIMS Secunderabad without which this program couldn’t been a great success.
The enthusiastic participation of a large and diverse audience reflected the relevance and urgency of the topic. The sessions were enriching and thoughtfully structured—truly comparable to an “Onam Sadhya” of knowledge—offering a wide array of insights, practical learnings, and expert perspectives that participants could absorb, reflect upon, and implement.
This inaugural program sets a strong foundation for many more impactful academic sessions planned by AHPI and TSHA in the coming months. Such platforms will undoubtedly provide member hospitals with valuable support—ranging from legal guidance and advocacy to infection prevention, academics, policy support, and beyond.
As we congratulate ourselves on this excellent initiative, it is important to acknowledge the visionary leadership of Dr. Raghunath Reddy, Shri Govind Hari, Dr Giridhar Gyani and Dr. Ranga Reddy, under whose guidance this forum continues to grow in strength and relevance. For the younger members, this initiative opens exciting avenues for learning, collaboration, and meaningful contribution to healthcare advancement.
It is truly inspiring to be part of this collective effort aimed at building a stronger, safer, and more resilient healthcare ecosystem. Together, through such academic and professional forums, we move closer to delivering better, safer, and more equitable healthcare for our communities.
